Her mother Cynthia Louise Bissett vice president of mobile company Verizon. Her father was a businessman Joseph Anthony Germanotta Jr. Director of an internet-based firm. Her family was located in the private Upper East Side of Manhattan in the middle of a Catholic family. To stay out of the pitfalls of this lifestyle, her parents decided to enroll at the Convent of the Sacred Heart which is a revered and prestigious school. It was a passion for her from the age of a child. She began playing the piano as a little girl. At thirteen when she was thirteen, she began writing her first song. Open mic nights were her most loved. She was a fan of the Queen Michael Jackson, Madonna and David Bowie. She was a music student at New York University Tisch School of Art when she completed her secondary schooling. Her education didn't last long, she quit to pursue her career in music.
